God was never asking you to shrink.
Faith is the foundation for a larger life, not an escape from it.
Becoming serious about God does not require becoming smaller, less ambitious, or less interested in a beautiful life. Faith is the foundation a larger life is built on — not an escape from it.
Why It Matters
Many people quietly believe that depth with God and a full life are in tension. That belief shrinks ambition, excellence, and desire before they ever have a chance to become something offered back to God.
My Perspective
I don't believe God is threatened by excellence, wealth, ambition, or beautiful living when those things are properly ordered under Him. The question was never whether you could have too much — it's what your life is built on.
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Stop apologizing for wanting to build, create, grow, serve, and live excellently. Order your ambition under God rather than beneath your fear of what 'spiritual' is supposed to look like.
The Identity Statement
I do not have to become smaller to become closer to God.
Faith is not an escape from a full life.
You don't have to shrink to prove you're spiritual.
God is not asking you to live beneath what He created you to become.
Where have I confused humility with shrinking?
Where have I confused ambition with worldliness?
Where have I limited what I believe God can do through me?
Faith was never meant to be small
Walking with God and building a full life at once.
Wealth
Money is a mirror, not a master.
